Hi, my name is Ashton Necaise. I am a senior lighting design BFA student at the University of Mississippi. After entering my collegiate years as an acting major, I found a love for design and lighting design, and I transferred into the design program in my Sophomore year. I have a particular affinity for storytelling, as well as being hands-on in the electrician aspect.
I am expected to graduate in May of 2026. Until then, I am based out of Oxford, MS. However, I am always willing to travel for short-term contracts if the opportunity arises. Last summer, I worked professionally as an Associate Production Electrician for Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre. This summer, I had the chance to be Assistant Lighting Designer on Clue the Musical for Titusville Playhouse.
In my free time, you can find me attending concerts of my favorite artists, spending time with my partner and our dog, Sheeba, or hanging out with friends around the Oxford Square. I love watching sports, supporting our Ole Miss teams.
